High-Tech Laser & Polishing has been supporting mold builders and molders since 1985 with multiple services that include mold polishing, laser engraving/texturing, laser cutting and laser welding.

The company’s polishing department offers finishes from mirror diamond, paper, stone and blasted according to SPI industry standards. Many of the company’s projects require its polishers to work under a microscope for small, detailed jobs, such as the diamond mirror polished cavity seen above.

The laser department engraves on tool steels, aluminum, copper and graphite for electrodes. Logos, cavity ID numbers, tool identification or text can be accomplished on a contoured surface, a sidewall surface, or down in a deep pocket. High-Tech Laser has laser cutting capability for a 5' ×  10' sheet of material, with the material thickness ranging from 0.003-0.500" thick.

High-Tech Laser also offers laser welding and TIG welding services on various tool steels, aluminum and copper materials. On some projects, after the part has been welded, High-Tech will blend down the weld to match the existing surface finish and then laser engrave the new information.
