Nearly 30 years ago, Progressive Components became the first component supplier to offer free CAD geometry for mold designers and has continually added products and formats since that time. The company is proud to announce significant advancements to an already extensive CAD Library that includes new file formats and download options with the introductiuon of its new CADalog. The CADalog is a streamlined method to receive the entire company’s catalog of CAD geometry in the file format of choice, either as a USB drive or online download option. Designers who receive the CADalog USB will receive notifications as new products are released and have the opportunity to download just the newly added components for easy updating. According to the company, new file formats include native VISI and NX libraries built by software and industry experts specifically for mold designers.
