LMT Onsrud AR End Mills Offer Coolant-Through Design for Better Chip Removal
#industry40
LMT Onsrud has expanded its line of Aluminum Rougher (AR) end mills designed to provide extended performance and tool life within aluminum and non-ferrous roughing applications. Available in two- and three-flute configurations, coolant or non-coolant through, the company says these tools provide high material removal rates and are optimized to slot 30 percent faster than its standard Aluminum Finishers (AF) Series tooling. The coolant-through design directs coolant at the cutting edge, aiding in removing chips and heat, even during the deepest pocketing applications.
