B A Die Mold Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of high-quality, precision injection, thermoset and compression tooling that is highly regarded for its Class A unscrewing molds for threaded parts. In particular, the company says its patented Programmable Electric Rotating Core (PERC) system is a frequently sought-after technology.
PERC is fully programmable, highly accurate and requires little to no maintenance. B A Die Mold says users can program an unlimited number of profiles with absolute repeatability, making the system ideal for electric molding machines and cleanroom molding applications. Further, each control cabinet is built and programmed for use at any facility; one cabinet can also be used with multiple molds.
While the company claims its engineering “sweet spot” is building molds that run in 650-ton presses or smaller, B A Die Mold has also designed and built many larger molds for customers in a variety of industries including medical device and surgical, filtration, plumbing, housewares, automotive and others. Overall, B A says it has the experience and capability to sample, troubleshoot, repair and “tune up” any underperforming molds, whether they originated with the company or not. Engineering changes and maintenance of any mold are also on the menu.
