Plastics Technology Expo (PTXPO) is a trade show created to connect the entire North American plastics market under one roof in the hub of plastics manufacturing, featuring a robust, pavilioned exhibit hall, free education and demonstrations, and countless networking opportunities. Feedback from its debut in 2022 revealed that the plastics supply chain is eager to reconnect and do business face-to-face once again.

One of the busiest sections of the show floor was the Moldmaking Pavilion — presented by MoldMaking Technology and Amerimold. And it’s obvious why … mold manufacturers were on the hunt for talent and technology to help face the industry’s unique challenges, including an influx of work due to reshoring and continuing workforce challenges. Fast forward to today and those challenges persist, so coming together to learn and share is still vital to the industry’s success.

However, we know your time is valuable, so we want to make it quick and efficient for you to connect with people who can help improve your business. This pavilion hosts various companies supporting your critical manufacturing niche with crucial products, equipment, processes and services — including mold builders, components providers, texturing and engraving specialists, mold repair equipment suppliers, tool builders and hot runner providers.

I encourage you to explore the floor plan of the Moldmaking Pavilion online and on page 32 of the February 2023 issue. Then register using PROMO CODE: MMT23.

However, remember that PTXPO is much more than the Moldmaking Pavilion. Once on site, you will meet and mingle with presidents, owners, purchasing managers, plant managers, engineering managers, vice presidents of engineering, production managers, process engineers, lead operators, toolroom managers, mold designers, maintenance engineers, directors of quality control and R&D from companies involved in packaging, injection and blow molding, bottling and containers, consumer products, recycling and scrap reclaim, extrusion and thermoforming, moldmaking, medical, tooling, 3D printing, materials, and sourcing and auxiliary equipment.

PTXPO is a can’t-miss event for everyone involved in plastics, and that includes you, our MMT readers! And, it’s an extra-special year for MMT, as we are celebrating the magazine’s 25th anniversary. So, be sure to stop by MoldMaking Technology Booth #1609 to join the festivities, take a selfie, watch (or be a guest on) a live MMT Chat, pick up a commemorative “Top 10 Reasons to Be Moldmaker” t-shirt, win other special giveaways or just say hello!

See you in Chicago!
