Precise Tooling Solutions Promotes, Welcomes Dedicated Craftsmen to Team
Followed by business success in 2023, the 2020 MMT Leadtime Leader winner shines a light on three experienced employees that will continue to grow and evolve its moldmaking business.

With success in strengthening its business across the board in 2023, mold manufacturer Precise Tooling Solutions is introducing new personnel and welcoming back a previous employee to its growing team.
Brian Rose has rejoined the company as head of manufacturing. In this new role, Rose and his team will be responsible for delivering world-class craftsmanship, on-time delivery and a fair price on all new tooling, productivity improvements and CNC projects. Rose has returned from a short absence and will use his 30-plus years of tooling and CNC experience to continue making customer projects flawless.
Precise Tooling has also promoted Jeremy Fields to program manager for its service business. Fields will be the first stop for all engineering changes, repair and productivity improvements needed on existing tools. He has been with the company for more than 5 years and has worked to develop many of the processes that make its manufacturing and sales projects run smoothly.
Finally, Precise announces that Steve Schmidt has joined the company as director of sales. Schmidt has spent the last 20 years as a toolmaker, machinist and has been selling CNC machines for the last 10 years. He’s smart, personable and focused on customer satisfaction.
Combined, these three individuals will work to balance the leadership team, Joe Vawter (PM new tooling), Ron Kraft (PM CNC) and Tiffanny Laker, (director of administration) to ensure projects are completed on time, with world-class craftsmanship and at a fair price.
Over the last couple of years, Precise Tooling Solutions says invested in new equipment, added best-in-class software, trained a young and highly talented CNC team and added to its team of experienced toolmakers. The company also cites building stronger partnerships with overseas suppliers to keep it competitive in the industry.
The company is looking forward to 2024, aided by a “strong wind” at its back, a dedicated team of professional craftsmen and a growing base of successful customers.
