  1. How do you create and maintain an employee-centered culture?

McNitt:  Our open-door policy for operators, maintenance, anyone is able to come into my office talk, vent, offer a suggestion, etc. We really want to make sure that people feel safe.

  1. What are your top three technology investments and why?

McNitt: An engineering staff to leverage technology like our CMM and 3D printer.

  1. What is your latest process improvement?

McNitt: We upgraded our coding system to reduce our redundant data entry. The new system standardizes our file naming, put it all centrally.

  1. How do you measure success?

McNitt: Being an engineering-minded company, we have lots of metrics and KPIs, but ultimately it's our customer feedback. It’s partnering with our customers is our greatest feedback loop.

  1. How do you stay competitive or put another way?

McNitt: It’s a team effort. It's leveraging the people and helping them grow. That’s what
