Topper: The team plans together. Meetings include everyone, not just management.
2 What are your top three best technology investments and why?
Topper: Our automated EDM and HSM cells that run lights out operation. Also, in-house laser welding to speed up repair work.
3 What is your latest process improvement?
Topper: Hiring a processing improvement engineer to streamline operations to avoid mistakes and errors by teaching us how to track history and mistake patterns.
4 How do you measure success?
Topper: Success is based on on-time deliveries.
5 How do you stay competitive or put another way?
Topper: We invest in the latest technologies like automation. You can't stay stagnant. We also try to be system-driven, as opposed to a bench-type approach to work.
