Multi-Process Turning Center Provides Precise Machining
Hwacheon Machinery America offers its C2 multi-process turning center for manufacturing parts with complicated shapes in a single chucking operation.
Hwacheon Machinery America offers its C2 multi-process turning center. Half turning center, half machining center (Y- and C-axis control), this product can manufacture parts with complicated shapes in a single chucking operation. Engineered with a triple stack turret with tool changer, the turning center holds as many as 30 tools and increases productivity, enabling the precise machining of complex parts with reduced setups. Multiple jobs can be tooled up, and it is ideal for short run jobs. Designed to minimize thermal displacement, the arrangement of units in the heat-symmetrical structure provides superior thermal stability. The cooling system ensures the turret’s rotary-tool module maintains processing quality. In addition, the turning center’s orthogonal structure of X, Y and Z-axes reduces feed error for high rigidity and precision. A range of turning center options are available, including an automatic tool presetter, parts catcher with conveyor belt and a sub-spindle.
