Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. announces personnel additions and promotions.

The company has selected Adam Reichert in the role as sales coordinator. Reichert is a graduate of Hamline University earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration-marketing. He is currently pursuing a master of science-operations and supply chain-project management at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He most recently served as a sales representative for a Seattle-based customized metal solutions company. 

“Adam is an experienced and accomplished sales professional who will provide essential support to the Matsuura sales team and serve as the point of reference for distributors and customers,” says David Hudson, vice president of sales and marketing for Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. “Adam will support our sales representatives and coordinate sales-related activities, playing an important part in maintaining the high standards of customer service for which Matsuura is known.”

 

Shawn Buboltz has been promoted to vice president of technical services. In his seven years with the company, Buboltz had most recently served as director of technical services, where he assumed increasing levels of responsibility and leadership. He will continue to oversee both Matsuura USA’s service and applications departments. Buboltz served for four years with the United States Coast Guard earning a degree in machinery technology.  “Shawn has demonstrated tremendous commitment to Matsuura and shown exemplary performance. As vice president of technical services, Shawn will continue developing high standards for Matsuura service and applications,” says Craig St. John, president of Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. “With his comprehensive understanding of the industry, Shawn has established innovative programs and enlarged an operational foundation that continues to build on successful customer partnerships.”

Andrea E. Turnquist has been appointed as controller. Turnquist will oversee the accounting department and manage all areas of the company’s financial reporting and general ledger, as well as tax, audit and cash management functions. Turnquist has over 20 years of diversified accounting and finance experience, balanced among large and emergent companies, as well as in-depth industry experience. Prior to joining Matsuura, she held the position of controller and manager of sales administration at a privately held medical device manufacturer in MN. Turnquist earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
