CAMplete Partners with Haas F1 Team
American Formula One team stays on the right path with software from CAMplete
CAMplete Solutions Inc. has partnered with the Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula One World Championship. Real-time simulation from CAMplete TruePath shows users how their programs will operate in the real world. TruePath’s post processor allows users to switch between different CAM systems or combine tool paths from different CAM systems into a single project. TruePath can also create and edit custom G-code formats and apply them to any project. Problems can be identified and corrected before a program is sent to a milling machine. Simulating the machine path allows operators to isolate five-axis deviation errors, eliminating guess work. This is important for Formula One, where tolerances are incredibly tight.
