Pre-assembled, VeriShotᵀ features Mastip’s FlowLoc threaded leak-proof nozzles with advanced heating technology for optimum control. The company says it provides exceptional thermal performance for improved part quality, making it ideal for applications requiring a highly cosmetic gate finish, fast flow rates, large volume parts, and dimensional accuracy.
Molder’s World features the new Vortex venting core pins and press-in pins, which are made to industry standard tolerances. These pins allow the molder to use a core pin that has a venting surface that is 25% micro-porous for maximum venting where needed.
Molder’s World is also a distributor for Cortec Corp., which featured its Eco Air Tool & Die Rust Preventative, part of its Cortec Corrosion Solutions line of products that are eco-friendly. The water-displacing formula offers long-term indoor protection for a variety of metal materials used in the industry and requires no cleanup.
Managing Director Doug Kline from Inovatools USA shows the company's new Curvemax, an innovative solid carbide curve segment drill for five-axis machine tools.
Cumsa's line of Cooled Block hydraulic cylinders are cooled cylinders for high temperature molds. The threaded oil ports allow 360° cooling tubes orientation. Five styles are available.
DMS is now selling Almo’s new in-mold edge gate cutting pins and sprue bushings. The pin and bushing provide automation in cutting large edge gates by feeding plastic components near the center of the mold and trimming the gate as the mold opens, eliminating the need for secondary operations.
J&H Distributor's Joachim Trelenberg (left) and his team are showcasing AHP Merkle block cylinders, tie rod cylinders and locking cylinders to the moldmaking community at Amerimold 2019. Of note is that the AHP Merkle Tie-Rod Cylinders can be equipped with new linear cushioning. According to the company, these cylinders can move large masses at high speeds and brake them within a very short period. Linear cushioning increases not only performance, but also the efficiency of the cylinder, plus it requires no adjustment, so no adjustment errors are possible.
Hirschmann Engineering USA displayed its wide array of clamping and reference systems for EDM, as well as submersible rotary axes and tables. The company also featured its IonoPlus 3000 synthetic dielectric fluid for EDM, which offers greater resistance to electrode wear, improved surface quality and optimal flushing effectiveness to prevent burn spots from developing.
Agathon Machine Tools Inc. offers an expanded line of round fine centering components for moldmaking. Of note is the new, standard Mini Fine Centering device, which is used as a plug connection for mold inserts and master unit dies, while the main separation plane is centered using the larger standard (shown above, at left). Benefits include durability for mass production, high initial load capacity at centering start, clean-room capable and cost-effective.
