MMT Editorial Director Christina Fuges opens the Leadtime Leader Awards ceremony to a huge crowd at the end of a very busy first day of Amerimold 2017.

Tim Krieger, president of the 2016 Leadtime Leader company of the year, shares some perspectives on being an LLA honoree.

The first Leadtime Leader Award went to the 2017 Honorable Mention shop, Concours Mold Inc. of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Here, Concours' corporate sales manager Ed Ergun accepts the award, remarking on what an honor it is to be recognized.

Next, top honors were given to Graphic Tool Corp. of Itasca, Illinois. Most of the 2017 Leadtime Leader company's team members attended and proudly accepted the award together.

Networking after Amerimold is never boring, especially when there's a little casino-night fun involved!

A whole lot of fun was had during the annual networking party, and we have a roomful of guests who can attest to it!

Besides gaming, guests enjoyed some great food, including this carving station featuring roast beef cooked "just right."

The Amerimold networking party brings friends and colleagues from the industry together for fun and camaraderie.

The roulette wheel was hot, we're told, and guests enjoyed a winning time during the Amerimold networking party.

Many guests took advantage of the opportunity to be featured on the cover of MMT - well, virtually anyway, and dressed up with lots of fun and goofy accessories to jazz up their "look." The result was a photograph showing them on MMT's cover which was a great souvenir!

Blackjack tables were humming during the casino night networking party, sponsored by Progressive Components.

There's no doubt about it. When Amerimold throws a party, everyone who's anyone at the show is there because it's a great event offering quality time with friends in the industry. Thank you to all who came out!

Amerimold has evolved through the years when it comes to size, conference focus, location and so on, but some things never change. Amerimold has always been focused on mold manufacturing and it’s also always mixed some after-hours activities in to provide attendees and exhibitors with a more relaxed atmosphere in which to meet colleagues, make new acquaintances, enjoy good food and beverages and have fun!
