Since stepping into the role of Chief Financial Officer at Hommer Tool & Mfg. Inc. in September 2024, Trey Hommer has become a pivotal leader guiding the company’s financial health and long-term strategy. As CFO, he oversees every facet of the organization’s financial operations while serving as a key strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring the business remains positioned for smart, sustainable growth.
Trey’s responsibilities span controllership, treasury operations and forward-looking planning. He manages day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting and regulatory compliance with precision. He also leads the company’s capital and liquidity management, ensuring the organization maintains the stability needed to meet its commitments and pursue new opportunities. As a strategist, he brings data-driven forecasting and risk analysis into executive decision-making, offering perspective on major investments, expansions, and long-term market trends.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, Trey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Auditing. His experience includes more than three years at Deloitte, where he advanced through audit roles, and earlier service as Purchasing Manager at Hommer Tool — a foundation that gives him rare insight into both the financial and operational sides of the business.
