PCS Company is now offering C-Sert Thread Repair inserts for permanent thread repair of injection molding press platens and other equipment.
Self-aligning, self-tapping C-Sert inserts enable faster installation and chip removal thanks to the design of the cutting surfaces. Suitable for most repairs of OEM threaded holes, they are thick enough to replace many brands of thread repair inserts.
PCS is offering standard, heavy wall and mini thin wall versions. Kits are available with or without corresponding drill bit. The low-torque installation is fast and easy with a medium-duty impact driver or hand tool.
The company offers a few options to choose from: Inch (1/4" – 20 to 1 3/4" – 5) or metric (M6 x 1.0 to M42 x 3) threads and two sizes of magnetic drills and 16 popular sizes of annular cutters.
