RJG Receives Machine from Maruka
Maruka has consigned a 65-ton servo hydraulic molding machine to the RJG hangar lab.
Maruka USA, owner of Toyo and FCS molding machines, has consigned a 65-ton servo hydraulic molding machine to the RJG hangar lab. The FCS HA-65SV has an efficient motor and drive system that reduces power consumption by as much as 70 percent. The press also includes the Keba i2880 12” high resolution controller. The 65-ton press has a 26 mm screw with a 1.87 ounces of barrel capacity and 27,174 psi of injection pressure.
The machine will be used in RJG’s Decoupled Molding workshop, Advanced eDart training and Master Molding I and II courses. Students will interact with the machine in a variety of ways to practice what they learn in the classroom. This hands-on learning increases retention and provides students with tangible knowledge they can bring back to the plant floor.
