Go West!

Are you a western moldmaker, molder or OEM working in the western region? Have you met with your industry colleagues recently?   Interested in meeting  new exhibitors from the region? Do you want to participate in raffle drawings throughout the night? Do you want to get caught up on other industry events? Then mark your calendars and plan on joining your colleagues for a casual reception focused on your segment of the plastics industry

This event is called the 23rd Annual Mike Koebel Moldmakers Trade Fair and will be held on Tuesday, October 29 at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel & Conference Center in Pomona, CA.

The Mike Koebel Moldmaker Trade Fair, now in its 23rd year, was named in memory of Mike Koebel who founded Prestige Mold Inc. with his wife Donna in 1982 in the family’s garage. Mike was a dynamic leader on the Western Moldmakers Board and was committed to the success, education and continued growth of not only his company but the entire moldmaking industry as well. The Trade Fair is a western marketplace for moldmaking supplies, services, machinery and equipment. It is an opportunity to expand your contacts and develop relationships between your key employees and industry suppliers.

Proceeds Help Fund Western Moldmaker Grant Program. Over the past 14 years, because of the success of the Trade Fair and other SPI Western Moldmaker events, the Western Moldmakers Board has been able to give back to the plastics and moldmaking communities by donating nearly $80,000 through their grant program. Recipients were Western-based schools and universities with moldmaking programs, as well as other educational programs that promote plastics. The mission is simple – keep moldmaking safe by educating the industry.

And MMT will be going this year! Join me.
