Haimer USA’s Power Clamp Nano NG i4.0 is a network-compatible and industry 4.0-ready shrink fit machine for digital data communication on the shop floor. The Power Clamp Nano NG i4.0 was specifically developed for shrink fit collets and small toolholders up to size HSK-A63. The shrinking process is horizontal, with a fully automated motor coil and air cooling, and is said to ensure easy handling, especially at tools with smaller diameters. With its modular system construction, Haimer says the Power Clamp Nano NG i4.0 fulfills various customer requirements and is ideal for shrink fit chucks with an extra slim geometry, solid carbide and HSS.
Additional features include a 7” touch display and more intuitive software to simplify usability; nano air cooling up to outer diameter 32 mm; an intelligent 13 kW motor coil VS32-Ma; a scanner to read out shrinking parameters from data-matrix codes for optimized automatic shrinking; and a coil with a handle and start button for ergonomic working.
