Built-In Hydraulic Cylinder Saves Space in Injection Molds
NPE2024: The Model F cylinder is being launched by CUMSA to control pre-opening movements in the mold. Maintenance and installation are further simplified.
CUMSA USA is announcing the expansion of its hydraulic cylinder line with the launch of the Model F built-in cylinder. Model F is designed for internal movement and has been specifically engineered to meet the needs of moldmakers within the plastic injection industry. It offers a compact and robust design and is made of high-quality materials to ensure optimal performance in high production and other difficult environments.
The Model F is appropriate when needing to control pre-opening movements. All Model F cylinders come with Viton O-rings as standard, which make them effective in traditional and high-temperature molds. CUMSA says that the model is simple to assemble and disassemble to support easier maintenance.
The Model F hydraulic cylinder is available in five piston diameters — 25, 32, 40, 50 and 63 mm — with strokes up to 80 mm. The False Cut is also available to achieve a simple housing design.
