EDM manufacturer Sodick revealed that it will now include a two year warranty standard for all premium model wire and sinker EDMs, including: ALN, ALC, AP and AQ series wire EDMs and AG series sinker EDMs. This warranty program protects customers, covering all labor and parts (with the exception of wear parts such as guides and carbides). Beginning September 1, 2019, every machine of these models sold will automatically be covered.

For those looking to further extend their warranty beyond two years, or for those looking to extend the warranty of an entry model machine, including VL series wire or AD series sinker, the company has greatly expanded the SodickCare+ program. SodickCare+ comes as either a +2 or +4 year warranty extension, with discounts and other perks lasting an additional two years. In addition to extension of normal warranty terms, SodickCare+ customers receive 25% discount off training, special pricing on consumables across all Sodick machines, access to an exclusive rapid-support line only for SodickCare+ members. After the warranty period ends, SodickCare+ members continue to receive a 10% discount off all labor and a 5% discount off all parts for their covered machines.

These warranty programs help to meet the needs of modern customers, ensuring that Sodick users are taken care of long after their equipment is installed. For more information on either Sodick’s new standard warranty policy, or on the expanded SodickCare+ extended warranty, please contact the company at (847) 310-9000.
