Mike Eden, owner of Eden Manufacturing and Eden Tool, passed away unexpectedly over the 2021 Christmas holiday. A scholarship prize has been created to honor Mike and his passion, American manufacturing and specifically mold manufacturing. First- or second-year apprentices in the moldmaking industry are encouraged to apply (and will only be considered) before the final deadline, Wednesday August 31, 2022.
“Mike was a huge supporter of American manufacturing as well as apprenticeships,” Mike’s partner, Dave Tomic, says. “And what we wanted to do was come up with a way to honor his passion outside of Eden Tool and set up future generations.”
Those who apply have the opportunity to be awarded a Gerstner toolbox to aid their success in moldmaking. This will be an ongoing opportunity to remember Mike and support this essential industry. Click here for the application form.
