RAM Optical Instrumentation, a division of Quality Vision International, offers the QVI Snap measuring system that features a large 78-mm field of view and is well-suited for use in cellular manufacturing environments. It is said to provide fast, accurate measurements in shopfloor environments enabling the operator to maintain cell production without losing time to measure parts.
Features include optional dual-magnification optics, offering a high and low optical range with digital magnification levels within each range. Programmable LED light sources create optimum contrast for automatic edge detection. Equipped with Snap-X software, the system is designed to automatically identify and measure the part without programming, making it an effective addition to any cellular manufacturing environment.
