The 2024 iWarriors Annual West Coast Golf Outing, hosted by M.R. Mold & Engineering, raised $17,500 for wounded combat veterans despite inclement weather, featuring heartfelt testimonials and gratitude towards sponsors, highlighting the impact of the iWarriors initiative.  

Get your golf game on to support a good cause with the Feb. 9, 2024 iWarriors golf outing. All proceeds from the event will benefit iWarrior veterans in need.

Alliance Specialties and Laser Sales will once again partner with the iWarriors organization during its annual golf outing, Mundelein, IL, at Countryside Golf Club.  The annual event supports the iWarriors mission, which is to assist severely injured members of all branches of the Armed Forces by providing them with personalized tablets to aid in their return, recovery and reintegration.  The golf outing will kick off with an open house at the Alliance facility, followed by registration, lunch and a shotgun start at 12pm CST.

I returned home with a wealth of inspiration and instructions, including the importance of leaning into discomfort, having difficult discussions, delegating more, letting others shine and understanding the difference between a promise and a goal.

iWarriors has been honoring severely injured soldiers since 2011. Check out all the fun and fraternity at the 2021 annual iWarriors Golf Outing and mark your calendars for the 2022 event.

Since 2011 iWarriors has provided fully-loaded tablets to more than 900 combat wounded service members for their rehab and recovery, and although founders Kim and Tim Bartz are retiring, the program will continue on under STAR Charities.  

With COVID, unrest and an upcoming election, nobody is talking about our wounded veterans in need … except iWarriors.  What is iWarriors, you ask?

Larry Patten of Nebraska-based Dramco Tool rode 10,000 miles across 26 states and raised more than $15,000 for iWarriors after setting what he thought was a reasonable goal of only $5,000!

It’s Memorial Day, and as we in the U.S. celebrate with picnics and barbecues with family and friends, let’s remember what this day commemorates – honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.  That comes easy to this moldmaking community.
