DME’s Smart One valve gate hot runner system provides a common design platform. Five different nozzle sizes can match application requirements, and it is available as a manifold and components offering, or as a complete hot half ready to integrate with an existing cavity plate. The system is available with pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, and actuation options include individual (sequential) or all open/all close. The cylinder design enables removal/setting of valve pins without system disassembly. Tips, retainers, heaters and thermocouples can be serviced while the system is in the machine for maximum up-time. The system is ideal for lower cavitation and less-technical applications.
