Incoe will present its slim DF 5 nozzle, which features a 5-mm flow channel and slim base heater. The nozzles’ small outer diameters allow them to be mounted as close as 18 mm apart, or even 16 mm apart with modification to the nozzle shanks. This results in tighter pitch spacing, closer proximity of water cooling circuits and reduced radiant heat to the mold.

The company’s SealFit technology integrates the nozzles with the manifold, a basic principle of its Direct-Flo hot runner line. This eliminates the need for a holding plate to support the nozzle heads and compress the nozzles onto the manifold. The positive SealFit connection offers high operational reliability and a leak-free transition between the nozzles and the manifold, the company says.
