Ideal Technology has added a 3D Systems ProX 800 stereolithography (SLA) printer featuring a large 25.6" × 29.5" × 21.6" build envelope to increase its rapid prototyping and tooling/fixture business. According to the company, this printer, along with its iPro 8000 and SLA 5000 units enable it to quickly grow large quantities of parts. Rapid prototype parts can be integrated into tooling or fixture designs to help lower overall costs while speeding product delivery, Ideal says.
