Featuring servo-driven hydraulics, the 110-ton TiA110S injection molding machine from Toshiba Machine is designed to be an energy-efficient and economical alternative to electric systems. Servomotors driving the machine pumps rotate only at the necessary required speed, using as much as 65 percent less energy than traditional hydraulics, the company says.

The system also features the V50 built-in controller, which uses real-time input to report molding conditions and automatically adjust mold settings for greater part repeatability and fewer rejects. The V50’s intuitive, touchscreen interface and as many as 40 optional user-programmable outputs enable molders to customize machine cells without investing in additional OEM programming.
