The DMS booth also will feature MetalRustGuard, a self-adhesive wrap designed to protect mold components and tooling from rust and corrosion during shipping and storage. The material is composed of a hydrophobic polypropylene that prevents water vapor transmission, which is then impregnated with food-grade waxes and oils to prevent condensation from forming on the metal as temperatures changes on the outside.

The wrap can be easily applied with light pressure and then adheres to the mold or tooling. Any wax residue that is left behind after the material is removed can be wiped away with an all-purpose cleaner.
