LaserStar Technologies will present its 7800 Series open laser-welding workstation, which is well-suited for tool and die, and injection mold repair, in addition to general welding of large parts. The workstation can be used for deep, seam, contour and complex-pattern welding an a variety of materials, including 300- and some 400-series stainless steels, mild steels, nickel and nickel alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys, titanium, precious metal alloys (gold, silver and platinum), and more. Power levels ranging from 60 to 200 W are available.
