Designed for use in the stamping die and mold industry for heavy load applications requiring compression, Misumi USA’s line of nitrogen gas springs are engineered with automatic pressure-relief mechanisms designed to reduce the risk of workplace accidents and injuries that can occur from mishandling or malfunctioning springs and cylinders under pressure. These safety devices exhaust the pressure in a controlled and complete manner, and prevent forceful ejection of parts when, for example, a cylinder has been over-stroked or stressed by uncontrolled returns.

Three versions of the springs are available: the GSV global standard type, GST robust screw type and GSK classic ISO type. They are compatible with 141 industry standard cylinder sizes.
