With help from members of the American Mold Builders Association (AMBA), MoldMaking Technology magazine and others in the plastics manufacturing industry, iWarriors.org has donated more than 300 iPad gift packages to combat-wounded service members from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

According to the organization, the iPads allow the service members to stay in touch with loved ones while undergoing rehabilitation and recovery from their wounds. Those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorders and traumatic brain injuries can also benefit by using apps to assist in treatment.

iWarriors says it has seen an increase in demand for the iPads as news of the program has spread. For more information or to donate, visit iwarriors.org.
