MX and SX internal latch locks from CUMSA are designed to control the two-stage opening of a tool, often in three-plate tools. They can also be used in double-ejection tools, controlling two sets of ejector plates. The MX is offered in a 14-mm-diameter shaft and 36-mm-diameter bushing, with a standard length of 230 mm. The SX is intended for larger tools and features a 25-mm-diameter shaft and 60-mm-diameter bushing, with a standard length of 480 mm. No additional components or specially fabricated bushings are required. Both lengths may be custom-ordered with longer shafts to accommodate longer ejection strokes.
