Osco’s MGN Hybrid, a hybrid multiple-gate nozzle (MGN) system, offers design flexibility for applications with close center-to-center gate requirements coupled with longer nozzle lengths and specific application needs.

The system incorporates the company’s standard MGN body for the manifold and its CVT-20 Series externally heated nozzles for the drops. Benefits of the MGN manifold are balanced fill rates at each gate and minimal residence time. The CVT-20 nozzles offer four standard tip styles with a variety of tip/gate diameters for a range of gate cosmetic requirements, four different nozzle “A” lengths, temperature control at each gate and a replaceable heater.
