Cavalier Tool, winner of this magazine’s 2015 Leadtime Leader Award, will feature gas counter-pressure and injection-compression molding technologies.

Gas counter-pressure technology enables injection molds to be filled under pack conditions. Ribs fill completely without trapping gas, eliminating race tracking and increasing part strength and appearance.

Benefits of injection-compression molding include stable part geometry; randomized, even glass fiber orientation from a standard injection press; and structural parts without the weakness caused by melt fronts merging and linear fiber orientation inherent in traditional mold processing.
