Synventive will feature modular hot runner technologies, including the Plug’n Play system with threaded nozzles for various shot weights. According to the company, these customized systems offer zero leakage, a uniform temperature profile, energy efficiency and easy servicing. Modular actuators provide easy-access pin adjustment without removal of the top plate, quick pin decoupling and automatic bleed. All actuators are equipped with a pin-position sensor for setting up various control functionalities.

The company’s SVG+ hot runner systems are designed for sequential molding of large parts. These hydraulic-actuated systems are equipped with the modular actuators and SynCool3 technology that provides indirect cooling of the actuators via thermal conductors that make contact with the cooled top clamp plate. This eliminates the use of cooling plates and direct-cooled actuators, and the elaborate installation of cooling lines for most applications.
