Niigata will introduce the seventh generation of its all-electric MD110S7000 horizontal injection molding machine, which features an FDA-approved grease supply system that decreases risk of parts contamination in medical cleanroom and food-grade applications. The elimination of moving platens and lower-side tie bar bushings also improves the cleanliness of the parts drop area.

The machine’s high nozzle-touch force is similar to that of a hydraulic machine and can be dialed down when the application allows to promote longer sprue bushing life. The fully automatic and adjustable mold clamping force also is continuously monitored by tie bar sensors.
