The Yama Seiki F-101 is a high-speed bridge-type milling machine adapt 12000rpm CAT40 direct driven spindle, equipped with 15/18.5 kW (20/25 HP) (Continuous/30 min. rating) as a standard. We also offer other solutions, including 15,000 rpm BT40 direct drive, Neo 20,000rpm HSKA63 built in spindle and TDM 22,000rpm HSKA63 built in spindle. New designed spindle head has a minimum overhang distance between spindle center line and Z-axis guide way center is 211 mm only. This concept vastly reduces the possibility of deformation caused by cutting force or thermal expansion. The working range is 39.4”x39.4”x19.7” with table size 43.3”x39.4”. The maximum table load is 4400 lbs. X, Y and Z axes adapt with special heavy duty machine tool linear roller guide way from THKwhich offers low frictional coefficient (0.003-0.005) and the best warranty for long-term high accuracy. The feed system of FM machines consists of AC servo motor, high accuracy ball screw and special support bearings. External pulse coders are directly connected to the ball screws for all three axes. The bridge and the bed are made up of Meehanite cast iron in one piece which allows for maximum cutting performance and vibration absorption. The thick casting walls and reinforcement ribs give the machine unsurpassed rigidity and prevent any bending or twisting that may affect machining accuracy. All casting parts had been fully annealed to guarantee long-term accuracy for this class of precision machines.
