In 2001, Bales Mold opened a second location in Harlingen, Texas. Bales is known today industry-wide as a premier vendor that can handle intricate coating and finishing applications to solve corrosion and abrasion problems. The newest coating, NIBORE, is an electroless nickel boron nitride co-deposited matrix. This coating has a coeffiecient of friction of 0.05 and a Rockwell hardness of 54 RC. Bales Mold also offers Nicklon (nickel Teflon) coating as well as electroless nickel. Hard chrome and diamond chrome can be uniformly deposited in the most difficult areas by using a conforming anode. Bales Mold polishers are setting the standards on all SPI finishes. Micro welding is also available for fine repairs. All under one roof!
