National Tool & Manufacturing offers a variety of customized solutions for the mold industry, from minimally processed holder plates, and finish-ground and edge-milled alloy steel plates, to completely machined custom mold bases. The company opened a new custom mold base facility last year and this year expanded its range to supply mold builders with mold steel in all stages of production. In the fourth quarter, a new steel processing facility is expected to open that will offer increased lifting capacities, storage and streamlined steel processing.

    Amerimold, The Event for Mold Manufacturing, closed on June 16th, 2016, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI. The two-day tradeshow, technical conference and networking event featured more than 3,000 participants, representing every aspect of the plastic injection molding cycle. The Amerimold exhibit hall was the largest ever and included 200 exhibitors displaying products and services used for designing, building, injection molding and maintaining molds.
