Superior Die Set will showcase its Threadformer core unscrewing device, which uses a powerful hydraulic motor and a fixed mechanical dead stop to achieve core positioning accuracy. It supports long thread depth, pitches and types. Water cooling of the cores can be achieved with the use of a right-angle-style unit or by a twin design for molds with multiple cavities. The device is available with an optional baseplate that has coolant lines and water connectors, or an insulator plate can be added for high-heat applications.
