Marposs Corp. has expanded its Artis Genior modular machine monitoring family with its new IPC4 compact operator panel featuring a 4.3-inch LCD color display. Easy to install and assemble, the IPC4 is said to be pre-configured with visualization software to serve as a user interface for the Artis GEMCMS02, which detects dynamic and quasi-static collisions or the GEMTMURO for monitoring toolholder runout.
Available with or without housing, Marposs says the IPC4 display is water- and dust-proofs. With a resolution of 480 x 272, it is said to offers user-friendly operation. It works via an Ethernet connection and with a Linux operating system.
Further, control panel displays are also available in 7-inch and 10-inch sizes for the Genior modular monitoring systems.
Genior Modular, an autonomous, process monitoring system, provides an automatic, real-time image of a current production process using a multi-criteria monitoring strategy that automatically adapts to machining processes.
