All Haas VMCs and HMCs are now equipped with the Haas NextGen Control, said to feature an improved user interface, more consistent and intuitive navigation, and improved connectivity. According to the company, the layout and screens are very similar to past Haas controls, but are they better organized and easier to read, and feature more intuitive icons. Users can also send email and text notifications about the operating status of the machine to a designated list of recipients. Setup is easy through the MyHaas Portal and haascnc.com website.

The CNC comes standard with 1 GB of program memory, built-in Ethernet connectivity, a power-failure detection module, and HaasConnect Mobile Monitoring. High-productivity options include expanded memory to 64 GB, WiFi connectivity, and dynamic work offsets/tool center point control for fourth- and fifth-axis operation.
