D-M-E (Madison Heights, MI) has released a new series of ejector pins featuring a 0.0002-inch dimensional tolerance. These close tolerance, through-hard ejector pins, or CT pins, are made of hardened M2 tool steel, improving their ability to absorb deflection without damage. These pins were designed for the medical and electronics markets, or in any other application where close tolerance is critical. The pins are available for immediate delivery in diameters from 0.0625 inch to 0.25 inch with no shoulder and 0.0625 inch to 0.0937 inch with a 2-inch shoulder. Other sizes are available made-to-order based on the unique requirements of each customer.
