Chromium coatings from Armoloy of Western Pennsylvania (Booth 106) are formulated to provide a variety of wear and release benefits when used on metals. Armoloy TDC and XADC can be used to coat injection mold cavities and gates that run glass-filled resins and tend to wash out tooling, and to coat stamping dies and punches to keep the edges sharp and reduce galling and pickup with difficult base materials such as aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized materials. XADC is a diamond chromium coating that offers surface hardness of 98 Rc, while TDC is a thin-dense chromium coating that offers surface hardness of 78 Rc.
