EROWA Technology will display the perfect cell to deal with those heavy workpieces by integrating their ROBOT Easy, EROWALift 250 and Modular Work Holding (MTS) at IMTS. The Robot Easy accommodates pallets from 50mm to 500mm and weights up to 550lbs. Tables of large machines may be reached easily due to the 62” travel of the loading arm. All of the EROWA palletizing systems can be utilized with this unit. The EROWALift 250 is another member of the family of manual lifting devices designed to assist the operator to load either the machine or robot. The maximum transfer weight is 550 pounds, which lends itself well to moving heavy pallets and fixtures that in the past may have only been moved by overhead crane or gantry. With the expanded Z travel offered on the EROWALift 250, reaching the highest level of the robot magazine or rack can be easily done. The Modular Workholding System (MTS) is the company’s most versatile zero point workholding system. The modular design of the clamping equipment allows for an unlimited number of combinations of components. Once equipped with chucking spigots; vises, gauges and fixtures are palletized and put into production in no time.
