Valued for its ability to program any machine tool, the Edgecam solution will be exhibited on June 14 at the Haas Factory Outlet Demo Day in Tampa, Florida.

Hosted on Flag Day to celebrate American manufacturing, the Haas Demo Day provides an opportunity for participants to learn new and innovative means of boosting efficiency. Among topics to be covered at the event are how to reduce set-up and cycle times, monitor machine status, machine complex parts in single set-ups, and more.

Attendees will also learn about the time-saving technologies within Edgecam, and will be treated to a barbecue lunch and limited-edition Haas T-shirt.

Among features highlighted will be the Edgecam Waveform roughing strategy, a high-speed machining cycle that delivers consistent tool-engagement with the material, thereby maintaining constant tool-cutting load. By generating smooth toolpath to avoid sharp changes in direction, Edgecam Waveform maintains machine-tool velocity while decreasing cycle time and increasing tool life, and is standard on lathe and milling modules.

Visit haasflorida.com for more information, or to register for the event.
