ToolingDocs Announces Fall Mold Maintenance Certification Training Schedule

Summer courses sold out as demand for profit-building training increases.

While school may now be out for the summer, ToolingDocs classes are booked solid. “Our initial summer schedule was released in the New Year and seats in those classes filled quickly along with those in additional classes we added,” says Steve Johnson, Operations Manager at ToolingDocs. “As a result, we’re already announcing our fall schedule to keep up with increasing demand for training.

“These classes are half classroom and half hands-on training in the shop, so attendees work in teams on actual molds using actual equipment,” Johnson adds. “There are firm limits as to the number of attendees we can allow per class in order to maintain quality and we’ve had to turn folks away and add new classes to accommodate them.”

ToolingDocs’ fall training schedule is set as follows:

• Hot Runner Maintenance and Repair: September 10-11
• Toolroom Maintenance Manager: September 24-26
• Level 1 & 2 Combo: October 7-11
• Tooling Component Repair: October 22-23

All of these classes will be held at the ToolingDocs Maintenance Center in Ashland, OH, but ToolingDocs is also available to provide customized training services on-site at a customer’s plant.

In addition to Certification Training, ToolingDocs also offers Maintenance Capability Assessments (MCA), which consists of a thorough examination of a company’s specific mold maintenance infrastructure.
