Ryan Delahanty Named MoldMaking Technology Publisher

The leadership shift is said to better position Gardner Business Media for growth in foreign and domestic markets.

Gardner Business Media announced that Ryan Delahanty will assume the role of publisher of the MoldMaking Technology brand (MMT). With the move, former MMT publisher and current Modern Machine Shop Mexico publisher, Claude Mas, will assume the additional responsibility of publisher of recently-announced Plastics Technology Mexico.

Mr. Delahanty joined the company in 1999 and has excelled in both sales and publishing roles on many of Gardner’s brands, including MMT. As part of his new role with MMT, Mr. Delahanty will also lead the sales effort for Amerimold, Gardner’s annual trade show and conference focused on the mold manufacturing industry. “Mr. Delahanty’s knowledge of the mold manufacturing marketplace will be a great benefit to the customers and readers of MoldMaking Technology as the industry continues to grow and reach into new markets,” says Travis Egan, group publisher of Gardner’s Metalworking Group, which also includes Modern Machine Shop and Production Machining magazines.

Mr. Delahanty will also continue in his role as Publisher of Gardner’s CompositesWorld brand. According to Gardner, the synergy between these industries is apparent and Mr. Delahanty’s experience in both markets will allow for new and interesting opportunities for all involved.
