Maruka USA recently consigned an FCS HA-65SV injection molding machine to the RJG training facility located in Gibsonville, North Carolina. The press features a 65-ton servo-driven hydraulic injection molding machine that is said to reduce power consumption by 70 percent. The press also features a 1.87-oz barrel with a quick response 12"high-resolution Keba i2880 controller.

The press will be used by RJG students in Master Molder I and II, Systematic Molding, Fundamentals of Systematic Molding, and Decoupled Molding workshops. Students will interact with the machine in order to practice what they learn in the classroom. This hands-on learning increases retention and provides knowledge that students bring to the plant floor.
