Rich McGranahan, an injection molding veteran with expertise in all aspects of injection molding, rejoined ALBA Enterprises as manager of sales and engineering earlier this year. Mr. McGranahan left ALBA following the death of company founder Tony Brusca in 2012 but was rehired by president John M. Dineen, who acquired the company a year ago. He is in charge of sales and technical support for ALBA’s line of Babyplast micro-molding machines.

“Rich started his career as an injection molding machine operator and in the ensuing decades has worked in every aspect of the molding business, from plant management to technical support to equipment sales, and sales management” said Mr. Dineen. “His solid understanding of the complex interplay between client, molder, and toolmaker makes him a valuable resource for our customers.”

Rich started as a machine operator with Sajar Plastics and advanced to plant manager in charge of 52 molding machines. Subsequently he joined injection molding OEM Nissei, starting as a service technician and eventually serving for 23 years as a regional sales manager. He first joined ALBA in 2011.
